Our Current Programs
Primary is for children 2 1/2 to 6 years old. Children must be potty trained before coming, and acceptance is based on an interview with the Director of Programs and Primary Guide. We offer both half-day and full-day* (by invitation only) Primary programs, both are Monday through Friday.**
- Half-day: 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- Full-day:* 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Mon-Thur; 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Friday
Elementary is Monday through Friday,** 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for children ages 6 to 12. Children enter Elementary after spending time in the Primary, and after consultation about the child’s readiness with the Director of Programs and Elementary Guide. Previous Montessori experience, whether at HCH or elsewhere, is a must for entry into Elementary.

Nationally the median cost for a full-day Primary program like ours is more than $12,000.
Our Full Tuition for 2023-24
- Half-day Primary: $3,000.
- Full-day Primary: $4,500
- Elementary: $4,800
Sliding Scale Tuition Reduction Program
Even with our low tuition rates, we do not want finances to keep any child away from our program.
We have a sliding scale to reduce the amount charged to needy families. Families who qualify will need to submit a copy of their most recent annual Federal Tax Filing with their application.
We do not require anyone to do fundraising. We do, however, rely on fundraising to fill budget gaps that come from tuition reduction. So when families receive tuition reduction, we will offer opportunities to aid in raising the money to fill the budget gaps. This way, children receive the education they need, and families have the opportunity to participate in our mission as much as they are able.
We offer 3 payment options:
- 100% upfront by August 1.
- 50% due August 1 and 50% due February 1
- 10 equal payments due August 1 through May 1
Payment can be made via check, credit card (via Quickbooks invoices), or bank transfer (via Zelle or PopMoney.com). We will work with you to determine the method that works best.
