Apart from payroll, our monthly expenses are modest:
- Various consumables
The total works out to a bit over $1,000 each month.
Our tuition structure has never been about making sure all expenses are covered, it’s about making sure the children get the positive effects of the programs.
We operate with a deficit built into our finances, so that no family feels they can’t afford to send their children. But we still have to pay those bills!
That’s where your generosity comes in.
We have a handful of monthly donors — those wonderful people who sustain us in this work. We call them Hilltop Children’s Champions. They are champions because their regular gifts enable us to plan for larger improvements to our building, secure that the monthly expenses are accounted for.
We have set a goal of 23 new $20/month donors before the end of 2023.
Can you become a new donor at $20/month?
Naturally we wouldn’t object to a monthly pledge of MORE than $20, but $20 is a good number.
There are a number of ways you can make this pledge. Some are through services that will take a small fee, others pass 100% of the amount on to Hilltop Children’s House.
- Direct Bank Transfer: A scheduled monthly transfer can be set up from your bank through Zelle. Contact Us for more details if you’re not sure how.
- Facebook: Go to our Facebook page, click the “Donate” button, and be sure to click on the “Monthly Donation” button as you check out.
Options With a Small Fee
- PopMoney: They charge a small fee, but it is a direct bank transfer with no Paypal or other middle man. Go to PopMoney.com, set up your account, and then use [email protected] to set up your monthly donation.
- Square: Square is most convenient for many, and it takes a small fee — Hilltop Children’s House receives all but about 15¢ of every $20. Set up your recurring donation through Square, here!
Whichever way you’re inclined to give is the best way we can think of. And we are always happy to answer questions. Contact us anytime!
