People in our neighborhood are putting bears in their windows for families to “hunt” while out walking.
Based on the popular book We’re Going On A Bear Hunt it’s a fun way to keep the community engaged and give the kids something new to do, while still keeping your “social distance.”
We’ve made a do-it-yourself booklet for kids to take with them on a bear hunt. Just print it off, staple four times along both long sides, then cut it in half along the dotted lines both long-ways and short-ways.
If you’d like to participate by putting out a bear for families to find but you don’t have a teddy bear, we also have a pdf of cute bears you (or the kids) can color and post in the window.
Enjoy!
