#GivingTuesday was a great day for HCH!
The fundraiser we set up on Facebook in conjunction with their #GivingTuesday campaigns has been a great success so far!
Thus far it has raised more than $2,800 out of a target of $7,000—which is enough to fund up to 5 full scholarships for part-time students. And it continues until December 6.
The highlights of Facebook’s offer:
- Facebook and PayPal matched the first $7 million of contributions yesterday; we should find out tomorrow how many of our donations were matched;
- Facebook has suspended all fees on donations to non-profits, so 100 percent of your donation through December 6 comes to us!
If you’ve given already, THANK YOU! You have made it possible for more students to experience the benefits of Montessori!
And if you’re still thinking of supporting what we’re doing for kids here in Labelle, you still have more than a week to help us get to that $7,000 goal.
We’ll post soon a note from one of the families whose children have benefited from your generosity. You are making a real impact.
