Our Current Programs

Toddler Program — New in 2024!

The Toddler program is for children 12 months to 3 years old. In this program children experience communal and individual activities aimed to strengthen their gross and fine motor skills, spoken and receptive language, life skills and self care. Children must be confidently walking and acceptance is based on an interview with the Director of Programs and Toddler Guide. The class meets from 8:45-10:45am M-Th each week.

Primary Program

Primary is for children 2 1/2 to 6 years old. Children must be potty trained before coming, and acceptance is based on an interview with the Director of Programs and Primary Guide. We offer both half-day and full-day* (by invitation only) Primary programs, both are Monday through Friday.**

Half-day: 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Full-day:* 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Mon-Thur; 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Friday

Elementary

Elementary is Monday through Friday,** 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for children ages 6 to 12. Children enter Elementary after spending time in the Primary, and after consultation about the child’s readiness with the Director of Programs and Elementary Guide. Previous Montessori experience, whether at HCH or elsewhere, is a must for entry into Elementary.

Tuition & Aid

Tuition for our Toddler Program is $2500 per year.

For Primary and Elementary, we have always kept our tuition below the national average for programs like ours. For these programs we offer tuition reduction programs to help those families who need assistance. This education is too important to let finances get in the way. Payment Options

We offer 3 payment options:

100% upfront by August 1.
50% due August 1 and 50% due February 1
10 equal payments due August 1 through May 1

Payment Methods

Payment can be made via check, credit card (via Quickbooks invoices), or bank transfer (via Zelle or PopMoney.com). We will work with you to determine the method that works best.

Admission Process

Submit the below inquiry form to begin the admissions process. We will then contact you to set up a Parent/Guardian tour of the school.

The initial tour is for the parents/guardians only. It’s a time for you to ask questions about our school, learn about our program, and see the classroom. A meeting between the guide and the child in the classroom will be set up later.

If you are inquring for multiple children, you must fill out this form for each child.

* Full-day requires at least one full year in the half-day program, and a consultation with the lead guide about the child’s readiness for the full-day program.

** Given the nature of Montessori programming, partial attendance (i.e., only coming two or three days each week) is not an option we offer. Such an approach undercuts the communal aspect that is essential to the proper working of a Montessori program.
