
Tom Crowe
Elementary Guide, Co-Founder, Member of the Board
Tom Crowe holds an AMI diploma at the Elementary level, as well as a certificate at the Primary level. Both were earned through the Southwest Institute for Montessori
Tom earned a bachelor’s from the University of Mount Union in 2000. He has been involved in non-profit organizations dedicated to helping people improve their lives his entire professional life.
Tom has lived in the Labelle neighborhood of Steubenville since 2008. He worked at Franciscan University of Steubenville between 2008 and 2020.
After he and Noëlle were married in 2017 he learned more about the Montessori method and its underlying philosophy through her. The more he learned, the more he recognized its significant potential to help families in need. He and Noëlle founded Hilltop Children’s House in 2017, with the Primary Program opening in fall 2018. Since the founding, Tom has served as a member of the Board, in various executive roles, and in other capacities, including facilities management, fundraising, digital communications, and as assistant to the guide in the Primary Program. He has been the Elementary Guide since that program launched in 2022.
